When does Rosh Hashanah 2025 start?

A Sweet New Year, With Brisket on the Table

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, is filled with traditions that symbolize hope, renewal, and sweetness in the year ahead. One of the most well-known customs is dipping apples in honey, a simple, joyful way of wishing for a sweet year to come.

Another beloved tradition for many families? Brisket on the holiday table. Slow-braised until tender, brisket is a centerpiece that brings everyone together. At The Local Butcher Shop, we love helping customers choose the cut that’s just right for them, whether it’s a leaner flat cut or the richer, more marbled point cut for that melt-in-your-mouth flavor.

To make your holiday meal even more special, we’re offering brisket at $18 per pound (down from $21) when you purchase a half brisket (~5 pounds) or a whole brisket (~10 pounds). It’s our way of celebrating community and sharing in the season of abundance.

Wishing all who celebrate a sweet, joyful, and delicious New Year!

Rosh Hashanah 2025 begins at sundown on Monday, September 22, and ends at nightfall on Wednesday, September 24.

Your pick up day begin from Thrusday 18th to Monday 22nd.
